Institutional development of digitalization

Plan (Planning of current situation and goals)

Define actions and indicators that help you measure the development. Use the DigCompEdu-framework as base for your self-assessement.

Do (action plan)

During implementation, continuously check your progress using the timeline you created in the planning phase.

Check (check the progress)

Assess your actions and develop your organisational digital concept: What went well? Where did you have to make changes?

Act (revisions of the digitalization-concept)

Finally the goals defined can be reflected to finalize the concept - everything based on the DigCompEdu-framework using the PCDA-concept: plan, do, check act!

DigComp

The European Digital Competence Framework offers a tool to improve citizen's digital competence.

The framework can help with self-evaluation, setting learning goals, identifying training opportunities and facilitating job search.

DigCompEdu

The European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators describes what it means for educators to be digitally competent.

  • is based on the DigComp model.
  • targets educators at all levels and in all areas of education.

The focus is not on technical skills, but on how digital technologies can be used to enrich education and make it more individually tailored.

DigCompOrg

The European Framework for Digitally Competent Educational Organisations supports the systematic integration of digital learning in educational organisations. It complements models like DigCompEdu and DigCompOrg.

The primary purposes are

  • to encourage self-assessment within educational organisations concerning digitalization in education.
  • to enable the introduction of digital learning technologies in educational organizations.
